Will Roberts' show is in the style of Will Rogers during his Vaudville Days. As you may or may not know, Will Rogers was a humorist, trick roper, actor, and political humorist, who had myriad famous sayings, which included, "All I know is what I little I read in the newspapers." Will Roberts' show picks up on this theme, which enables him to customize his show to the region/customer, making each show unique and quite personal. He writes for numerous news organizations across the country, which is explained further on his website. His show is wholly dependent upon the needs of the customer, but usually runs 30, 45, 60, 90, minutes. It is a mixture of trick roping, political humor, and current events. Again, like Will Rogers, he interacts with the audience in both his trick rope demonstrations and humorous delivery of current affairs. For the purpose of his performance, press releases and local newspapers would serve extremely beneficial, as these are a means to support his Will Rogers-esque show. Knowing more about the attendees of the event will help him to get an idea of the flavor of the engagement, so he can gauge his performance, level of interaction, and humor accordingly.
